Los "Premios de Música de Corea" se celebró por primera vez en 2004 y reconoce los logros alcanzados por artistas de la música en el último año. Los ganadores son decididos por un jurado compuesto por críticos de música, música de radio PDS, y otros profesionales de la industria.

Los premios se dividen en 18 categorías diferentes de "Álbum del Año", "Mejor Álbum de Rock Moderno", "Mejor Canción de Rock Moderno", "Mejor Álbum Pop", "Mejor Canción Pop", "Grupo de Netizen Choice Music of the Year "," Canción del Año "," Músico del Año "," Mejor Canción Electronic Dance "," Mejor Rap / Hip canción Hop "," Mejor R & B / Soul Song "," Mejor R & B / Disco Soul "," Mejor Canción Rock "," Mejor Álbum de Rock "," Mejor Performance Crossover Jazz "," Novato del Año "," Premio al Logro ", y" Premio Popular Juez Especial de Música ".

Psy ganó "Canción del Año" y "Músico del Año" por " Gangnam Style ", G-Dragon ganó" Mejor Rap / Hip Hop Canción "con" One of a Kind ", y ganó f (x)" Best Dance Canción electrónica "con“Electric Shock“.

Jay Park , Lena Park  , y Busker Busker cada uno ganó un "Netizen Choice" de adjudicación.

Winners from the ’2013 Korean Music Awards’

G-Dragon, f(x), Psy, Jay Park, and more were winners at the 10th Korea Music Awards!

The ‘Korean Music Awards’ was first held in 2004 and it acknowledges the achievements made by music artists in the past year. The winners are decided by a panel of judges consisting of music critics, music radio PDs, and other professionals within the industry.

The awards were divided into 18 different categories of “Album of the Year”, “Best Modern Rock Album”, “Best Modern Rock Song”, “Best Pop Album”, “Best Pop Song”, “Netizen’s Choice Music Group of the Year”, “Song of the Year”, “Musician of the Year”, “Best Dance Electronic Song”, “Best Rap/Hip Hop Song”, “Best R&B/Soul Song”, “Best R&B/Soul Album”, “Best Rock Song”, “Best Rock Album”, “Best Jazz Crossover Performance”, “Rookie of the Year”, “Achievement Award”, and “Popular Music Judge Special Award”.

Psy won “Song of the Year” and “Musician of the Year” with “Gangnam Style“, G-Dragon won “Best Rap/Hip Hop Song” with “One of a Kind“, and f(x) won “Best Dance Electronic Song” with “Electric Shock“.

Jay Park, Lena Park, and Busker Busker each won a “Netizen’s Choice” award.
